The Sourmash Top 10 (04/07/11)

Here it is people, the introduction of a new and hopefully continuing segment on Sourmash Music. I did use to publish playlists every now and again, so back by popular demand (well just one person actually) it’s back! My aim is to publish my Top 10 favourite tunes right now, every Monday for you lovely people. There is no criteria for it, it will be mostly new, but there will also be a couple of tracks that I am just really buzzing off at the moment, no matter how old they are.

I am also looking into creating this as a podcast so please watch this space…..well not this one, but you  know what I mean. So in no particular order whatsoever, here is ‘The Sourmash Top 10′

Helter Skelter – The Beatles (Don’t mess about when opening the show! One of my all time favourite songs to start off the first SM Top 10)

I’ll Never Tell – Glass Child a.k.a. Charlotte Erikkson

Girl, I Love You – Mono Stereo

Through The Clover – Stonefield

PACEMAKER – Breton

The A Team (Koan Sound Remix) – Ed Sheeran

Flying Overseas – Theophilus London

Set In Stone – Curtis Khan (from the Unattended Backpack Mixtape – the WHOLE mixtape is under this!)

Beth/Rest – Bon Iver (an album and this song especially, has really grown on me.)

Get A Life – Limp Bizkit (great song on the surprisingly good new album, Gold Cobra)

That’s all of them folks! If you are a band/artist or PR company that want to submit tracks for The Sourmash Top 10, feel free to at pete@sourmashmusic.com
