The Sourmash Top 10 (22/08/11)

I am back after a week away from the Top 10, but I hope I didn’t let you guys down with the release of Sourmash Mixtape Vol.1: The Walls Are Not Listening.  I felt it only right to give the Top 10 a week off while you all enjoyed my very first release for the blog. I want to say thank you to everyone who has downloaded the album so far, also a big thanks to the artists and bands that made this mixtape possible in the first place.

Apologies first off for the Top 10 being a day late as I am officially on holiday at the moment. I have had two weeks worth of tracks to listen too though and a couple of classics to throw in for good measure. So sit back, relax and enjoy this week’s Sourmash Top 10.

This Is For You (Acoustic Live Piano Session) – The Dirty Youth

As a special bonus just for you guys, I have another Ben Sommers track you can download for absolutely FREE. Simply because I love this guy and can’t wait for his debut album, Avocado Chip, which is out on the 3rd October, to be released and for you all to hear it. A mind bending concept of an album and it will twist your melon!

BONUS: Devils Day – Ben Sommers (Also a FREE download)

The Sourmash Top 10 (08/08/11)

Apologies first off for the lateness of the Top 10 this week, just hasn’t seemed an appropriate time to post anything over the last few days. I’m not going to dwell on the news on here, because that has never been my style. My thoughts go out to everyone effected by the mindless violence that has happened across London and the UK. I just hope things start improving pretty quickly.

So Top 10 this week is here anyway, hope you enjoy all the songs and look forward to hearing your thoughts…
