Evening all, ready for number two of the A Record A Day series?
One tonight for the Beatles fans that read this blog, and one of my most treasured records
Number Two: Don’t Let Me Down by The Beatles

Now this really is a special one in my collection! This is the first vinyl record that my dad ever gave me. My love of The Beatles has been present ever since I was a little girl, this is one of the most beautifully penned songs of the fab four in my opinion.
This 7″ also holds the A-Side single Get Back, from which gravitated one of the most iconic music moments in history: The Beatles, with Billy Preston, gave their final live performance atop the Apple building at 3 Savile Row, London, in what became the climax of their Let It Be film.
I will always love this song, and it will forever remind me of my mum and dad, it’s a song that’s stayed with me over the last twenty years and will do for a long time yet.
