It’s another week which only means one thing….. BRAND NEW VIDEO OF THE WEEK! Wow that was exciting. This week are wonky psych pop favourites of Sourmash Music, the ridiculously talented Chapter 24.
Chapter 24
The latest instalment from the South London 4 piece, gives you a psychedelic overtone that Frank Zappa himself would have been proud of. Taken off their latest EP simply entitled Chapter 24, this slice of a noisy riotgrrl inspired gem just fills me with excitement. An example of original music making as the band push the boundaries to create a sublime, at times incandescent, moment of glory that rings through and instantly grabs you. The video is packed full of modern twists but seems to retain a dreamy 60s mentality, which just compliments the song and the band perfectly.
Chapter 24 will be off to Texas for a little known showcase event called SXSW! They will be playing the following dates in the US, so if you can get down and see them, I highly recommend you do.
